QR-Code / Barcode:
Work the same way:
- Read the code
- output it as keyboard entry into the user identification field.
Prerequisit would be then, that your code is generated by coding the user identification field (e.g. account number) as QR- or bar code
NFC:
I used NXP MIFAIR Ultralilght with no success.
In the documentation is clearly stated that only NXP MIFAIR DESFire is supported.
I ordered them and it worked instantly.

I also would like to find out, we are thinking of purchasing the normal POS, can cyclos be configured to work on normal POS, or it works only on Mobile POS

Not sure I fully understand but ... simple answer is YES you can take payments using the desk top version - Mobile POS is not essential to take payments.
