Account structure multi-language

Post by cycloshost » Sat Dec 28, 2013 8:17 am

Hi,

what are the best practices when configuring account types for groups in different languages? For example, the account type and transfer type names and descriptions. Is it possible to translate them so each group can have the names and descriptions in their language and keeping the functionality of a certain account structure common for all languages?

Thanks!

Hi,

Currently items that can be translated are the 'hard-coded' items such as form labels, menu's, texts and help files. For systems with multiple languages different configurations with different languages can be created. This will work for most cases. However, when people with different langues want to trade with each other they will have to use a common language for some items, for example account names and transaction types.
'Dynamic' items such as account names, transaction fees, messages categories are created by the system administrator when setting up the system. These items are stored in the database. In the future we will add multiple language support for these dynamic items. Because of other priorities we did not included it in our planning yet. If we find funding we might advance this feature.

Hi, could you please give an estimation on the funding needed for this module?

Thanks!
