Bug: no password for user who's been added by admin

Post by ton.bil » Sat Jan 18, 2014 6:28 pm

When the Admin of our Cyclos4-community (hosted by STRO) adds a user, an email is sent to user, reading (in German) "Your application has been activated. You can login with your user name (xxxx) and the password you entered." However, the user can not know that passwor, since he has not entered it himself. The user is in limbo, and so is the Admin (me).

Could I edit the text of that email, in a way that the password entered by Admin automatically fits in the email, like the given user name ("xxxx")?
Or should I maybe change (back?) something in the configuration, and then what and how?

This can be indeed confusing.
We will add an option in the user register from (for admins/brokers) to enter a password or not. If not specified an e-mail with a tempory password is send. If a password is specified the confirmation message won't metnion the password.

For the moment you could change the translation key.

Should this read something like: "Dear {0}, your username is {1} and your password is {2}" Are these numeric codes correct?
