[cyclos 3.7.3] MemberRecord indexes disappeared

Post by mraxai » Thu Sep 05, 2013 5:05 pm

Dear Team,

in one of our instances today we've experienced something strange. While in the Admin searchRecords page we noticed that the indexes of member custom record types were not showing all records present in the DB. Then they stopped showing them at all.

So if you look at each member from their profile you see and can access the custom record types associated with her/him yet if you search from the Menu you see nothing.
If you go and update the record, it gets modified and saved. Then the indexes start working ok again.
Yet once you rebuild them they get lost again.

We also noticed that everytime the indexes get rebuilt the files present in the directory MemberRecords get wiped out and we end up with only have the .lock file there.

Since the same setup is at use in other instances and we'd like to know what happened.
Do you guys have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

we never encountered this problem. It might be a disc problem. Can you tell if the problem only occurs at a specific server?
Did you try to reproduce it with the same db and versions at another server?

Solved.
It was a local issue due to the missing of a member. Once we deleted the non binded record, the indexes worked as beautifully as usual and completed rebuilding in less than a sec.
