Can't change username

I'm unable to change the username.

I gave permissions to an account administrator group to change member username. Then when I go to edit the profile of the member It won't let me change the username. This is when system generates a random number.

Indeed. When the user name is generated it cannot be changed. This is not mentioned in the help file.
We will add that.
