I got a false 'The member login is temporarily blocked by exceeding the maximum amount of permission denied. The remote IP address is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' alert when the member logged out.
The time of the alert is the same as the time when the member logged out, as seen from the trace logs.
Don't know if it helps but I didn't get an email alert, it only showed in the Admin Application Status>Number of member alerts
It's a production 3.6 Cyclos with about 650 members (both active and inactive) updated from 3.56 about a week ago.
It only happened twice so far.
It happened with inactive members both times.
Also, when members actually do get blocked I get email alerts but it doesn't register it in the Admin home > Application Status>Number of member alerts
This is the case each time a member is blocked.

Re: [Cyclos 3.6] Member login temporarily blocked false alar
There is indeed a problem on sending alerts on blocked members (due to wrong login attempts).
We are still looking at this.
Further there is another bug that generates a member alert when a member tries to login when the group it is in has no login permissions. It should not generated a member alert (it will show a permission error to the member)
This problem has been fixed.
