Group names in email notifications

My installation of Cyclos (3.7) has various permission groups each with their own custom pages/styles, and that all works pretty well.

However, you don't seem to be able to customise the email notifications for each group. That would be bearable if the something like #group# worked in the email translation (similar to how #member# works, and #group# works for non-email notifications). Without this, the emails have to be very generic with no indication of which group they have actually signed up to.

Or am I just doing something wrong?

Further to this, if I can't resolve I just want to switch off the activation email for a particular group. But I don't seem to be able to that either, even if I have no email validation and I uncheck the send password by email button for the group.

Indeed the notifications are generic. So it is not possible to define different notifcations per group.
