Monthly summary PDF and send it to the email

It would be a nice feature to enable an option in the administration to send by email a summary of the monthly transactions in a PDF.

Seconded the request for this feature.

Is there currently a way to send any kind of a monthly statement by email? It seems like it would be a common need.
