jsp json (login status check)

Post by jaime »

Hi all,
im not very expert (infact im very newbie) at jsp/java stuff.
could someone enlightme which way would be better?
im thinking of creating a login_check.jsp (based on loggeduserdata.jsp) and i found several ways of acheive it:

http://viralpatel.net/blogs/2009/02/cre ... -json.html

http://www.roseindia.net/tutorials/json ... mple.shtml

http://code.google.com/p/json-simple/wi ... AXExamples

http://viralpatel.net/blogs/2009/02/cre ... -json.html

i just need a simple yes or no (returned in json format) about the login status to use in the php files

i could even try to do simpler stuff based on "<c:if test="${not empty loggedUser}">" tring to force to the jsp server a json format file (messing with the headers)

did someone maked this before? any hint? any of the above examples a particulary prefferred?

thanks in advance,
ps:infact i dont even need json, i can just print something to the screen with different sizes to the screen and count the page return with php and voila, but anyway, maybe thos json stuff could be of any use for any other person, though. (or even for me)

that is how far i reached:
https://www.sisdipe.com.br/para/pages/s ... _check.jsp

i didnt sucess to pass the member username as cariable to the json stuf, using simple-json.jar, but seem promissing, i now need to write down what new possibilities this stuff open, though.
