Google maps

Post by admin_de2 » Mon Oct 09, 2017 11:59 am

Dear Cyclosains,

i hit an issue with google maps itegration.
I added a API-key at google console.
I entered it in cyclos.
I reviewed the source code which is cyclos delivering:

Code: Select all

<script language="javascript" id="cyclos-google-maps-script" src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?callback=loadMaps&key=AIzaSyBTwV8gg562KmGh-YBnHL2pDqSEfD56QJ4"></script>
I receive following error in the developer console when i switch from list view to map view at admin->users:

Code: Select all

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot redefine property: Map
    at defineProperty (<anonymous>)
    at Fa (js:29)
    at js:104
    at js:144
Google API is not included twice, as far as i see.
Path of "js" is: http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?call ... qSEfD56QJ4 - is this the usual maps-api of google?

I added an attachment of the config of google maps in Cyclos; i use Cyclos 4.8.

It is really strange - i cannot see why "Maps" should meet to be redefined.
Is there a need to add a custom maps api url ALWAYS? Which one?

Any suggestions, hints, experiences are highly appreciated. Many thanks!

Sam

PS: I compared now community source code and pro source code:
Community (4.8.5) contains:

Code: Select all

...
  <script>
      var cyclosVersion = "4.8.5";
  ...
  <script src="https://communities.cyclos.org/unibil/cyclos.gwt/E3780AE937838D914F619F9844CFD14D.cache.js"></script><link id="themeCssLink" rel="stylesheet" href="/unibil/content/themes/7762070814179176511.css?version=4.8.5&cacheKey=6bb934a3dd70da3f&lastModified=1492891682302"><script language="javascript" id="cyclos-google-maps-script" src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?callback=loadMaps&key=AIzaSyCiagSJhY4PUUR8Xn2tENSl8BZDkKg8QvE"></script><script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/30/8/intl/de_ALL/common.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/30/8/intl/de_ALL/map.js"></script>
  <style type="text/css">.gm-style {
      font: 400 11px Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;
      text-decoration: none;
    }
    .gm-style img { max-width: none; }
	</style>
	<script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/30/8/intl/de_ALL/util.js"></script>
	<script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/30/8/intl/de_ALL/onion.js"></script>
	<script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/30/8/intl/de_ALL/infowindow.js"></script>
	<script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/30/8/intl/de_ALL/controls.js"></script>
	<script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/30/8/intl/de_ALL/marker.js"></script>
	<script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/30/8/intl/de_ALL/stats.js"></script>
...
While the cyclos PRO contains (4.8.1):

Code: Select all

...
    <script>
        var cyclosVersion = "4.8.1";
    </script>
		...
    <script language="javascript" id="cyclos-google-maps-script" src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?callback=loadMaps&key=AIzaSyBTwV8gg562KmGh-YBnHL2pDqSEfD56QJ4"></script>
...
  • Are there parts missing for google maps integration in 4.8.1?
  • Is this issue related with the cyclos version?
  • Can i achive google maps integration with cyclos 4.8.1 (e.g. knowing and entering the proper google maps api url)?
  • Or can i integrate the missing libraries in 4.8.1 and aviod an updated for the first?
