Dear Experts,
I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me an idea of the hardware resource requirements for increasing numbers of Cyclos 4 users. According to the installation guide a minimum of 500MB of RAM is required to run the application. I currently have it running in an AWS t2.micro EC2 container which has 1GB of total RAM. With all the O/S overhead, I also had to add swap space before Tomcat and Apache would start up. I'm using a separate RDS instance for the database.
In order to determine hosting requirements and associated costs I need a better understanding of Cyclos's resource usage. I'd like to know how much RAM and how many CPUs I'd need for the following cases: 1,000 users and 10,000 users. Assuming about 5% concurrently active users.
Do official Cyclos 4 benchmarks of this nature already exist? Any help or information would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
