Letsencrypt certificate for community with own domain possible?

Post by Fariid » Tue Mar 12, 2019 6:03 am

Hello,

Is it possible to use a Letsencrypt certificate if we would like to setup a community using our existing domain, preferably a certificate managed and renewed by Cyclos 4 Communities?

Thanks,

Fred Vos

Thank you Alexandre for your answer. Since our LETS unit has not yet decided on moving to Cyclos 4 Communities. I'm not yet interested in details on how to implement it. We're only interested in whether or not it *is* possible. As soon as we *do* choose for C4C, I'll reopen this discussion and ask you or other forum members for details on the implementation, especially regarding automatic renewals.

Maybe the Cyclos team can add instructions on this to their site and/or make it easy for communities to implement Letsencrypt certificates.

Best regards,

Fred Vos

Hi,

It is done by the Cyclos team for all communities with a domain. So no instruction / config steps are needed.
