Allowing/denying 1) access to Users and 2) Positng of adds

Post by GabrielJiménez » Tue Nov 25, 2014 12:15 pm

Hi! We would like to be able to decide about allowing/denying new registars to become users or not, in order to prevent false profiles.
We would also like to allow or deny posting of adds, to prevent adds about illegal activities to be published. Are these options allowed? How?
Thanks!

HI,

On the group there is a config to set the Registration settings.
On this config you can choice the initial user state, this way you can prevent the new users to be active directly.
You can set this to access blocked or disabled, this way an admin or broker will need to review all registrations and set the user to active.

The ads posting you can set at products, remove the permission from the current product and create a new product only with the permissions for ads, and give this products to the users that you want.

Thank you so much for your answer, Alexandre.
We managed to set things up to prevent users to be active directly.

On the permission to post adds, however, our idea was to receive each add as administrators and then allow its publication. I believe your suggestion is to enable postings adds in general, right?

Thanks again!

Hi,

Exactly, there is no option to admin review ads before publication.
