Hi, did you find someone already?
As we need to finance our own projects, we are starting to make Cyclos installations also for other projects. Calculate around 60eur depending on the OS, Architecture and Provider. We would first install and you would only pay when Cyclos is working.

We highly recommend at least 512MB RAM VServer for a basic Cyclos install. You can email us a request with subject "Cyclos install request" to acampadaleipzig [at] googlemail (dot) com

Cyclos installation is quite easy, but the installation time depends a lot on the OS, Architecture and Provider. Depends also on whether Tomcat and Java are already installed or not in your server. We are specialized in ssh access, not in panel access like VHM, CPanel or Plesk.

If you still didn't choose OS, we recommend CentOS latest, it is quite robust and stable.

If what you need is a standard Cyclos installation and you will make use only of the accounting and group structure provided by default without clustering, it will be an easy task for any programmer who already installed Cyclos before.

On the other hand, Cyclos is quite a complex but powerful software. Be aware that the installation of a default Cyclos instance may be quite easy, but the configuration of the software to meet your business requirements may not. It will be particularly time-costing if you need to tweak the accounting and/or group structure provided by default.

In Cyclos Wiki you can find extensive info about the business rules:
http://www.cyclos.org/wiki/index.php?ti ... ness_rules

If your project is complex, it is highly advisable that you have in your team at least a person who understands profusely both the Cyclos administration and your business requirements.

Cyclos also offers full clustering, which guarantees high availability and redundancy for critical business processes. If you need such a set up, it will be also particularly time-costing. More info about clustering here:
http://www.cyclos.org/wiki/index.php/In ... Clustering

You can contact us in the email above. We have also a ticketing system for requests through Issueburner, feel free to use it by sending an email to: support (dot) cyclos (at) issueburner (dot) com

We may be interested in finding a programmer experienced with Cyclos installations and mobile tech. Is there anyone out there doing this sort of thing? Can you drop me a note with rates etc.

Thank you
