Re: Cyclos 4 PRO platform

As usual, a full database backup is recommended before migrating. And,of course, Cyclos needs to be stopped during the migration. The tool should be stable. We've migrated some of our existing instances to file storage. Also, some clients have migrated to S3. Depending on the amount of existing imag...

Re: Cyclos 4 PRO platform

Hi. Unfortunately we have no news in neither questions: we only use Tomcat (8) in production, and in our projects we're using a replicated PostgreSQL. Even some large clients we have are satisfied with just replication, so I think it would be needed an stellar number of concurrent users to start hav...

Re: [Cyclos 4.5.3] Account balances not in sync after tx imp

simonjwoolf wrote:Thanks, this works well. You just made one small error in the second sql statement. It should be:

Code: Select all

update accounts set negative_since = null where balance_diff(id) >= 0
Sorry, wrong copy-and-paste. I'll edit the above reply, so it stays there for future reference.
Thank you.

Re: [Cyclos 4.5.3] Account balances not in sync after tx imp

You can list the accounts which are not negative, but have a negative_since date with the following sql: select a.id, t.name, u.name, a.negative_since from accounts a inner join account_types t on a.account_type_id = t.id left join users u on a.user_id = u.id where balance_diff(a.id) >= 0 and a.nega...

Re: Searching the "Keywords" field

Allowing the custom profile fields available in user and ad searches works, but it also creates a problem. These fields now appear in the user search box, underneath the "keywords" search field. This is confusing for our members. We want to have just one search bar showing where people can type in ...

Re: Searching the "Keywords" field

We use PostgreSQL's full text search for the users and ads search, however, with an user friendly query syntax. PostgreSQL's native query syntax requires connectors between words, and is very strict. For example: "car london" is translated to "car | london". The full text process has 2 steps, which ...

Yes, perfect.
I was writing the code in the forum post, which is not optimal :D
Has already edited the post.
Thanks for your feedback.

Re: Programmatically perform System -> User payment

First, I apologize, as I told you something wrong: it is a forward slash that separates internal names, not dot. So, this should work: def paymentType = entityManagerHandler.find(PaymentTransferType,"systemaccount/fleetvehiclefuelrecord") The other thing I think I didn't made clear is that you need ...

Re: Programmatically perform System -> User payment

Scripts run under special condition where the session data still references the logged user, but with unrestricted permissions (it is the admin which writes the script who is responsible for what the script does). However, some methods are still influenced by the logged user. For example, there are ...

Hi. On this link http://stackoverflow.com/questions/21131855/could-not-initialize-class-sun-awt-x11graphicsenvironment-on-solaris there are some suggestions: Either you are using some java runtime which is not Oracle Java or OpenJDK You can try to pass in the -Djava.awt.headless=true parameter on th...

Re: Error in NotificationService.search method

This is a bug in a migration from 4.2 or 4.1 to 4.3. That notification has changed, and we didn't correctly migrate the data for it. This will be fixed in 4.3.1. For now, you can remove such old notifications from the database by running the following commands in the database: delete from products_n...

Re: payment fields in search

Sorry, we were testing with an admin user. Everything works OK. Then i understand with the admin you can see all the filters and with the rest of the users, the permissions are set in the product in "Visible transaction fields". Even for admins there is the option in the permissions tab for visible...

Re: Paypal intergration script

Make sure that you also change the mode parameter in Cyclos script to live instead of sandbox.
If you can't make the script work, an option is to contact Paypal's support.

Re: Paypal intergration script

Does the paypal eligibility permissions have any impact on the script. In my country, I cannot perform direct credit card processing. I think direct credit card processing doesn't affect the hability to perform paypal payments, so the script can be used normally, unless there are some countries whe...
