Re: Paypal intergration script

I have another quick question regarding Cyclos payment: If there are 2 users and user 1 buys units from PayPal and sends them to user 2, how can user 2 physically cash or receive the money from Cyclos? Does user 2 also need to be linked to PayPal? Thank you in advance for your thought and considera...

Re: Retrieval and Updation of Custom Values in a payment

You cannot hook custom entities in the EntityManager because it is initialized on application startup. You could either manually create a table in the database and implement the CRUD using plain SQL. For example, you can use Groovy's Sql support with: import org.springframework.jdbc.core.JdbcTemplat...

Re: Retrieval and Updation of Custom Values in a payment

Hi. Is there a place where I can find detailed document explaining scenarios of retrieving custom fields and saving it back after encryption/masking within same script?org.cyclos.model.banking.transactions.PerformTransactionDTO doesn't directly gives access to the custom fields. PerformTransactionDT...

Re: Paypal intergration script

Following your stack trace, it states a ClassCastException in the line 60 of the script. First: are you sure you are using the latest version of all scripts from http://documentation.cyclos.org/4.7/cyclos-reference/ch04s03.html#d0e3701 ? The source line is near to the loading of the system record ty...

Re: How do you populate CustomValues in the new REST API

Sorry, I mean, the first option. On the new REST API you can post a JSON just like you were doing: { "subject": "toUser", "amount": "100.56", "customValues:" { "field1": "value1", "field2": "value2" } } Now I think I understand your question. With the new REST api, the CustomFieldValueDTOs always ha...

Re: How do you populate CustomValues in the new REST API

The way you're doing seems correct. Keep in mind that the result from the same call is just a simplified view of the payment, and doesn't include custom field values. If you want to query the full transaction, run a GET request to /transactions/{id-or-transaction-number}. Also if you specify a payme...

Re: Failed to access User record types when fields are share

Unfortunately there's a bug that prevents returning wrapped custom field values for this particular case: DTOs of records.
Hence, setting fields via wrapped.fieldName = 'value' works, but retrieving them back doesn't.
This will be fixed in Cyclos 4.8.

Re: Failed to access User record types when fields are share

Hi martin.rueegg, good catch. Actually, the getRecordTypeSharedFields is there by mistake, it was probably renamed to getSharedFields , but the previous method was left there. Assuming the getRecordTypeSharedFields shouldn't be there, we have the case that RecordType is an entity, and we have to ind...

Re: Paypal intergration script

I followed the steps for PayPal integration and the integration didn't work. When I took a look at the script, I discovered that the baseUrl < 'https://api.sandbox.paypal.com' : 'https://api.paypal.com > is out of date and doesn't work. Can someone please advise? Does anyone know if this one is sti...

Re: Failed to access User record types when fields are share

Well, glad you found the problem. The wrap() function tries to figure out which fields are available if none are given. All tests I did I was wrapping an entity, not a DTO, and without the second parameter. On the first look I couldn't spot the recordType.fields, because, yes, it doesn't include the...

Re: Failed to access User record types when fields are share

It is strange, because the stack trace indicates that a .value property was being accessed of the UserCustomFieldValue class, and nowhere in the script that was called (at least the visible part, because you didn't attach the whole script). Another question: you use wrapped[odometer], wrapped[member...

Re: Failed to access User record types when fields are share

Could you, please, provide more information of what fails? Something like a stack trace or a description of the result vs expected state. The code seems ok. I've tested a similar case here with shared fields and it works. In Groovy it is equivalent to use either: wrapped.membergroup or wrapped['memb...

To fix it, run the following on the database directly: First find out the identifier of the configuration applied for your admin: select id, name from configurations; Then enable the channel: update channel_configurations set enabled = true where configuration_id = <id of the configuration> and chan...
