The problem is that there is an issue with Cyclos and Java6. But only in compilation (and not run time). We will fix this in the next version. For the moment you could use Eclipse version Galileo or earlier. That will solve the problem.

Our primary focus is to finish the Cycos3.6 version. Unfortunately we do not have the time and resources to discuss any additional functions.

The max of member name is fixed (100 chars)
When the login name is not generated you can specify the min/max in admin - settings - access settings

The problem is most probably due to configuration erors.
Make sure all the parameters under ### MySQL are correct

Probably the user that runs tomcat does not have the permissions to write in that directory

It seem to be an issue with MySQL 5.5

Can you recreate an empty database and change the following entry in the cyclos.properties

hibernate.dialect = org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLInnoDBDialect
> must be
hibernate.dialect = org.hibernate.dialect.MySQL5InnoDBDialect
