Re: Zero account balance selective display suppression?

Thanks for this. It took me a while to find this, then I thought I had better take a look at the implied options around this before replying. I am not sure what "Hide when no credit limit" is supposed to mean; it will not allow the "Lower credit limit" box to be empty (null), alt...

Zero account balance selective display suppression?

In a system configured to provide a number of different accounts (not necessarily all associated with a distinctt currency type) is there any way to selectively suppress the display of accounts having a zero balance? For example, if a system is configured such that each user has 6 accounts (A1, A2, ...

Re: transaction history reports

Thanks Simon, your second suggestion may well take me closer to what I need, i.e. > One thought I had was whether you can get anything useful from > querying a system account. This largely depends on how many of > your transactions hit a system account (for example, if you have > some kind of transa...

Re: transaction history reports

Thanks Simon, but that requires human intervention which is what I'm trying to minimize. Upon re-reading my post, I realize that I didn't make that very obvious. What I'm looking for is a simple way for software hosted externally to extract transaction histories (across all accounts). I have several...

transaction history reports

Is there any way to extract transaction history reports for the entire system? I.e. a log comprising (per line) at least:: - date : payer : payee : currency (account) : amount I had imagined that such information would be easily extractable via the REST, but I can't find anything in the documentatio...

Drupal integration?

Has any recent attempt been made to integrate Cyclos with Drupal? [I have a number of reasons to continue using Drupal, and Joomla! is of no use for what I want to do.] I assume it would be reasonably easy to plunder a few crucial lines from the Joomla! Cyclos module to put into a Drupal module, but...

RESTful interface via DSL?

Sorry, I know I should wade more deeply into the forum, wiki, manual, etc., but I'm up against a very tight deadline ... Has anyone tried to implement a simple REST layer (perhaps using a DSL like Sinatra) to simplify the API? [I accept that it's a matter of taste and opinion whether that would simp...

Flexible "leakage" functions?

Is it possible to set up different (and possibly quite complex) "leakage" functions as a more flexible form of decay than demurrage? For example: (1) Proportional leakage on a mutual credit account. Account balance leaks towards -infinity at a rate proportional to absolute value of balance...

Parallel/simultaneous transactions

I can find no way to perform parallel/simultaneous payments,
e.g. From A to B: 3.5 Hours + £10.00 + 88 pigLETS
(assuming that A and B are both members of a group where each member has all of the above account types).

Is this really impossible, or am I missing something?

Hi John, We think to include more credit union functions in the future. Especially loan functions. As far as I know credit union software comes often with extended accounting/bookkeeping functions. For the moment there are no plans to include those types of functions but rather building an accounti...

credit union support features

Does anyone know of any groups or organizations seeking to build credit union support features into Cyclos? The majority of credit union software is expensive, Windows-trapped software. This is expensive and very restrictive. Although some is free, none is open sourced. Although credit unions rely u...

Re: Which OS is good host cyclos on a dedicated server

We are about to shop for a dedicated server. My prospective hosting provider bundles their server with one of the following three OSs.Could you please suggest the best operating system to host cyclos I've had a test installation running stably on Debian 4.0 for a few months. An SSL installation turn...

Cyclos source - projects

I'm new to Java, so I would appreciate some guidance. In the "Cyclos3 technical introduction.pdf" file it says: > Cyclos is build according to the Model-View-Controller concept. > There are 3 layers: > > 1. The Model is located in the cyclos3 project. It is the layer > that connects to the...
